UNPUBLISHED: RESEARCH (Yes or No?)
This one if for the technicians. While doing research, Ernie will try different things and then decide which are ok for the approach he's looking for, and which are not.
Here are 3 perfect exemples of that approach, which some drawings validated, and others not, with also extra technical comments.

UNPUBLISHED: CASPER PAGES
The same way the Richie Rich relaunch tanked out in the 2010's, the Casper one did too. Here are too exceptionnal unpublished and unfinished pages for this failed relaunch.
Check the amazing crowd scene painting down here! This top page confirms that Ernie Colon ha sbeen taking care of his coloring on most of his modern projects.

RICHIE RICH ORIGINAL PAGES
The main weakness of this blog is its lack of information on the Casper/Richie Rich Colon years at Harvey. Work was not credited and I really don't intend on purchasing all of the Richie Rich and Casper comics from two decades...
So here it is, opening original pages from Richie Rich comics, proving that at least those 3 stories were with NO DOUBT pencilled by Ernie. It's better than nothing!

UNPUBLISHED: RICHIE RICH PAGES
It is no secret that Ape Entainternment tried to relaunch a Richie Rich line in 2012. Helas, it tanked whitin the year.
Ernie had been working on new adventures of Richie Rich for them. Some of them were published but others stayed in his drawers after the tank-out. Here are 3 of them, enjoy!

SCOOBY-DOO N°8 (March 1998)
Seems that I miised this one! Ernie worked also on Scooby Doo 8 for DC. Probably still a terrific job, as you can see from this original art page.
This issues also figures an oddity: Ernie had to switch two panels. the one where Daphne is amazed was originally 1 panel after down the page. You can see that the switch took place not only thanks to Ernie annotation on the side of the page but also because we can see in transparency the previous panels behind the new ones!
DC published SCOOBY-DOO 8
Michael KRAIGER wrote "Like a cracked mirror" (?p)
Chris DUFFY wrote "Kung food fightin'!" (?p)
Ken LOPEZ & John COSTANZA lettered it
Ken LOPEZ & John COSTANZA lettered it
Trish MULVIHILL colored it
Bronwyn TAGGART edited it
and...
Ernie COLON drew it!

Doodles from BULLWINKLE & ROCKY original pages
As it is the case with other artists, while working on a page, Ernie used to relax himself and have fun by drawing doodles on the border of the page or on its back -it seems it was more often on the top of the page for him-.
Here are some exemples of those doodles from his run on Marvel/ Star Comics Bullwinkle & Rocky in the late 80's.
Sometimes, they even formed a kind of ongoing gag, like with this Boris character from page to page.
