After their amazing success with Amethyst, it made sense that the roads of Ernie and the duo Mishkin / Cohn would cross again. Surprisingly, it only happened once, when Dan Mishkin & Gary Cohn used Ernie for a fill-in job on one issue of their unusual DC serie: Blue Devil.The comical awkward atmosphere of the serie was a real fit for Ernie, letting his Harvey cartoony roots resurface.
