AIRBOY N°49 (June 1989)

Sadly, this is the last issue done by Ernie. What happened was that, ina few words, Ernie gave his pages for a friend to ink and this friend, despite saying he was making progress, totally blew the successive deadlines Ernie gave to him. In the end, Ernie took back his pages, and not even 1 whole page was inked!!!

Ernie had to work quickly to ink everything but the damage was already done and it totally blew off his place as the ongoing penciller of Airboy.

That's the sad part. Everything else in this issue will make you happy. Well...don't except happy cliffhangers, as you can guess by the scene up here....but Ernie renders perfectly all the drama and the epic of this fight against Misery pawns. Those4 issues are a must have and a very good entry point to Airboy.
