LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES N°55 (Holiday 1988)

At long last, Keith Giffen returned to Legion before making the jump to the apocalyptic "5 years later" title in 1989. This issue focuses on 4 differents legionnaires. Ernie is (again) pencilling the White Witch section. His work n those short 6 pages is very clear and clean-cut (that's not often the case). 

Nothing seems loose, yet the backgrounds and the level of details is pretty high, but the main impression is that we face  something etheral, weightless and clean. This will be the last time Ernie will ever work on the Legion, sadly. He would have been perfect alongside Keith Giffen on the apocalyptic title to be launched...
