SCOOBY-DOO SPOOKY SPECTACULAR N°1 (October 1999)

What a pleasure to see Ernie Colon pencilling/inking one of the 4 stories of this Scoody-Doo special shot. He's in the very good company of Joe Staton, in care of the others 3 stories. The one pencilled by Ernie is a complete success: funny, beautiful and in the perfect Scooby-Doo tradition. In this druid-thematic story, Ernie own style can be spotted on anything else than the cast, who is pencilled as the standard demand it. Ernie is no stranger to such standard, having work on Casper and Richie rich more than 20 years...
There is even a joke for us europeans, with the name of the statue, Panoramix, taken from the famous Asterix bandes dessinées! Too bad DC didn't took advantage of Ernie more on his kids titles, this will be his only work for this branch, and it marks the "return" of Ernie to DC after a more than  12 years break!!
Really, check this Scooby-Doo special, it is really worth it, be you a kid or adult, no matter what, you'll like it!
