Ernie tenure on this title is really one of quality. Last issue was amazing, this one is not that great, but that's not Ernie's fault. Magnus Robot Fighter this month is part of the Unity crossover, a storyline invading all of the Valiant titles for 2-3 months, a nightmare like only the 90's could produce. That means a lot of exposition and disconnected scenes and a crowd of characters to deal with.
Taking that in fact, that's why this issue can't compare with the previous one. That's still one hell of a good job Ernie is producing here.
