UNEXPECTED N°220 (March 1982)

Despite having worked on dozens of short stories for Warren, Ernie has been pretty much absent from DC anthology titles. He started doing one cover here and there at the beginning of the 80's, a little before all those titles cancellation, but has been kept away from pencilling inside pages.

This short christmas story in Unexpected, really beautiful (with gorgeous colors) is an exception. If I'm not mistaken, it marks the first collaboration beetween Ernie and Robin Snyder. Snyder will later reprint some Warren stuff from Ernie, thanks to his Renegade publishing house.
