Working for Warren on numerous horror and suspense stories, it's not a surprise to find Ernie starring on a short story in the first issue of the Vampirella N&B mag. This story doesn't feature Vampirella in herself, she only introduce the story and make a final remark, "à la" Elvira.
Ernie seems really loose on this short piece (look at this over exagerrated hand!), which is not a bad thing, the story litterally burst alive.
This first issue of the Vampirella mag has been reprinted identical in 2001 and is also available in paperback.
