SECRET ORIGINS N°7 (October 1986)

This story is only half of this comic (the other is dedicaced to the Sandman). In it, we learn the back sotry behind the origin of Green Lantern and how Guy Gardner was in fact also chosen at the same time and later be driven crazy by a love triangle. Ernie Colon was at one point the editor of the green lantern comic so it's no surprise to see him here. He's teaming up with Rodin Rodriguez, his last inker on Arak.
Lots of tiny panels here, but still some clues that it's definitively Ernie who's here: the incredible and unused cuteness (yes, cuteness!) of Guy Gardner, almost hot on some panels (the gym!). And of course, those kind of effects (distortion and background), typical of Ernie (remember Amethyst!):

DC  published SECRET ORIGINS 7
Steve ENGLEHART wrote "The Secret origin of Green Lantern"(18p)
Rodin RODRIGUEZ inked it
Anthony TOLLIN colored it
Agustin MAS lettered it
Robert GREENBERGER edited it
and...
Ernie COLON pencilled it!
