Still at Twomorrows, Ernie had been interviewed two times by late Comic Book Artist Magazine. This issue is really precious becase Ernie provided a new cover for it.
This issue was focused on Atlas, the short-lived comics company of the 70's. Ernie produced a lot of art for Atlas (on Grim Ghost or Tiger-Man or for advertisements like this illustration)
The interview is 10 pages long and captures quite well not only Ernie short career at Atlas but also a nice portion of his later works.
The choice of illustrations is also interesting, with lots of unpublished stuff like this sketch and this kinky splash page, probably made for an erotic publisher (Ernie told me he did some stuff there that I still have to find).
All in all, you really need to purchase this issue of Comic Book Artist: it was a really nice magazine and it is sorely missed.
TWOMORROWS published COMIC BOOK ARTIST 16
John B. COOKE did the interview (10p)
