We, the french, are responsible for this one. Ernie was approached by a french guy ready to give him good money to illustrate this kinky novel. -kinky by 1974 standarts, it's almost all-ages nowadays). First, Ernie refused but then the guy proposed more money, to the point where it would have seen silly to refuse.
So Ernie illustrated this very-hard-to-find book, published by Bleep Publications, in english. Ernie provided 1 illustration per page.
I first heard of it during Ernie's interview for Comic Book Artist. I couldn't find a copy but did manage, shamefully because I really don't like that, to find someone who scanned all the pages.
That's some nice stuuf by Ernie. And, most of the time, would have thought it would have been made to illustrate an erotic novel?
As Ernie said, if you ever wonder "why Sexorcist?". It was 1974, sex was selling, The Exorcist movie was a blast, so why not combine the two into ....The Sexorcist?
BLEEP published THE SEXORCIST (46p)
? wrote it
Ernie COLON drew it and its cover
