This second story of the horror anthology Inner Sanctum is quite schyzophrenic and frantic, both in form and storywise. It's about a young man, pennyless, finding a dead guy in an alley and taking his wallet from his corpse. Later, he find a card in the wallet saying the guy is cataleptic, meaning that he probably wasn't dead and has probably been buried alive! A run to the cemetery and the encounter of a policeman on the way will follow. Whithout spoiling anything, let's know that the final panel with see three guys standing next to an open grave, laughing!
A lot of different styles, showing different form of commitment from Ernie to the story, appear pages and pages. Some sections are very basic, simple and graphic, while others, like the opening page on top, show a completely different approach. A curiosity, taking once again advantage of its 18p length.
