JOHN CARTER WARLORD OF MARS N°21 (February 1978)

Frank Springer is back at the inking with this issue, and, as before, if all this is really expressive and racy, there is an overall sense of exageration, especially in the distortions due to the daring perspective on some panels.

I even have a big doubt that this lion head is from Ernie: has it been redraw?

Anyway, don't worry, John Carter is still a joy to read, it's just that Ernie has such a qualified and more experimented competition (at least on fantasy/super-hero jobs) on this serie that his short run on it doesn't shine as hight as it will on others titles.
